My grandfather's passion for photography had a profound influence on me, teaching me the art of capturing light without adhering to a specific photographic style, but rather embracing experimentation to capture the inherent beauty of people and places. Since then, life has given me the opportunity to travel extensively and my camera has become a constant companion, turning these journeys into memories.
While I have marvelled at the splendour of our planet, I have also witnessed poverty and inequality. As a passionate photographer, the issue of visual impairment touches me deeply. Etymologically, a photographer is someone who draws with light, but for those who live without sight, the beauty of light remains invisible.
Knowing that more than 80% of cataract cases can be cured by a simple surgical procedure inspired me to take action. Through this website, I sell photographic artwork and donate a portion of the proceeds to the Fred Hollows Foundation to fund life-changing eye surgeries, trying, in my own small way, to create a more inclusive world for those in need.
Whether you are a buyer, an artist who wants to join the cause, or simply someone who is willing to donate directly to foundations such as Fred Hollows, let's join the cause of the visually impaired and together illuminate the world of those in need, one image at a time!
